I am delighted to be exhibiting 5 new works with The Whitehouse Gallery in Kirkcudbright this Spring in their exhibition, Journeys Through Colour.  The Whitehouse Gallery is a new gallery for me and they have a wonderful selection of work from a range of artists and makers some of who are new to me too. I have a work on sale at various price points including my signature single tree paintings and some smaller landscape studies.  The centre piece of the work for this exhibition is a 60 cm square painting in russets and greens titled ‘A Bit of Drama’ so called as it was sitting in my studio and a wonderful shaft of light hit it (see pic below) and I could see exactly how to finish it! You can see the painting on my gallery page HERE  – I really like the texture and the warmth in it.  It looks great in dramatic lighting too which shows off the lovely framing which has subtle hints of burnished gold which look great in both contemporary and classic interiors.

Journeys Through Colour at The Whitehouse Gallery runs until the end of April and is well worth a visit if you are in the beautiful South west of Scotland  – all of the works are of course for sale online too.
