Claire Beattie, National Museums, Scotland Ancient Egypt workshop, 2019

Education Work

I work as a creative museum and gallery educator for a number of organisations including the National Galleries of Scotland, Live Borders Museums and Galleries and Scottish Borders Council. Using objects, exhibition resources and practical workshops I deliver curriculum linked, thought provoking and learner led workshop sessions. I have over 12 years of experience working in a wide range of settings such as schools, outdoor spaces, museums, care homes and hospitals and have worked with children and young people with severe and complex needs and with older adults and their carers living with dementia.

If you would like to discuss my input into any forthcoming ideas or projects then please get in touch through my contact page.
