Description
The Approach is a painting in oils on canvas of a close up of the Bass Rock in East Lothian. Painted in vivid blues and indigos it depicts this well known volcanic rock which is a familiar site from East Lothian and from high up in the Lammermuir Hills. It is a subject I return to again and again in my work. I love the drama and simplicity of its form against ever changing skies. It measures 40 x 20 cms (image size) and is framed in a chunky wooden tray frame hand finished in silver. It can be hung on a wall (it is strung for hanging) or it can sit on its own on a shelf or surface. Please message me for more pics if required.
