Description
Bass Rock – Grassy Shore is a painting in oils on box canvas of the Bass Rock in East Lothian. It depicts this well known volcanic rock, which is a familiar site from East Lothian and from high up in the Lammermuir Hills, against a golden sky seen through grassy fronds from the shore. It is a subject I return to again and again in my work. I love the drama and simplicity of its form against ever changing skies. It measures 50 x 50 cms (image size) and is sold unframed. I can arrange framing for you if required but this is an extra cost and for a painting of this size please allow an extra £100 for this.
